My Story
I have always felt a calling to teach. Even in high school, I knew I wanted to spend my life helping others learn, grow, and believe in themselves. Over the years, I've worked with learners of all ages—from adults in professional settings to middle and high school students—but my heart has always been with elementary learners.
Their curiosity, resilience, and excitement for discovery inspire me every day. As a certified educator with a background in special education, I've seen firsthand how patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction can transform not only academic skills but a child's confidence.
I founded Flit Bright Academy because I wanted to create a place where every child feels supported, celebrated, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Why Flit Bright Academy?
Flit Bright Academy was created with a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and believe in their own abilities.
Throughout my years in education, I have seen how powerful the right support can be. When students are given patience, encouragement, and instruction that meets them where they are, they begin to build more than academic skills — they build confidence, independence, and a belief that they are capable of success.
I created Flit Bright Academy to provide families with a trusted learning partner who truly understands that every child learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive, personalized tutoring experience where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
At Flit Bright Academy, success is not measured only by grades or test scores. Success is seeing a student overcome a challenge, discover a new strength, and walk away feeling more confident than when they started.
